Chapter Meetings: During the Spring, Summer, and Fall we generally hold our meetings on the 3rd Saturday of the monthly at 6 pm. The meeting sites vary as we find new places to prospect. The meeting times and locations are posted on our website as time permits. Our meetings are open to everyone interested in recreational gold prospecting. Membership in the national GPAA organization is encouraged, but not required. We offer GPAA memberships too! Support your local club and order

Our Favorite Meeting Place!
Gatesville on Salt Creek is a good starting point to learn the art of prospecting. The gold there is small flakes and fines. You will find lots of fine black sand there too, and if you are lucky, an arrowhead or two. The club sells basic prospecting supplies at our Outings. We also go on GPAA Claim Trips Too!
